Filip is an expert in the fields of photovoltaics, printed electronics and nanotechnology. He spent 10 years working in the renowned international Research and Technology Organizations (RTOs) such as Fraunhofer ISE (Germany), ECN (the Netherlands), ANU (Australia). Filip was leading multiple R&D project in close collaboration with largest photovoltaic industry players worldwide. In Poland he created the Laboratory for Printed Electronics and Solar Cells at the Wroclaw Research Centre EIT+ (first RTO organization in Poland).
For his scientific achievements Filip received multiple international scholarships, awards and grants, such as: Burgen Scholarship from the Academia Europea (AE), scholarship from the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education for outstanding young scientists, he was elected a Member of the Young Academy of Europe (YAE), received scholarship from DAAD (Germany), and five times award of Fraunhofer Gesellschaft, scholarship form Foundation of Polish Science (FNP, Poland) and prestigious grant from National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR, Poland), in 2015 he was elected among the outstanding young innovators of New Europe „New Europe 100 Challengers”.
Author of close to 70 scientific papers, and inventor and co-inventor of many international patents and patent applications in the field of physics and technology of the solar cells devices, material science and photonic devices.
